I can finish my England career knowing that I have played every possible game I can play in the times I have been selected.“I have never pulled out with any half injury or looked to put my club before my country. If I’m selected [to play against Belgium], I will go out there and give everything I’ve got.”Cahill watched on as England were knocked out of the tournament by Croatia on Wednesday. He added: “Watching the first half, I was thinking we were in total control and could only see one outcome but the game can always change.“We expected them to tire more than they did. They had two games go into extra time before they faced us, but they seemed fit. It’s hard to take.”last_img
