COMOX, B.C. – Wrapping up provincials yesterday were the N.E. B.C. and Yukon Trackers. Their final game was against Comox with the Trackers earning a 4-2 win.The team got off to a quick start and never looked back. Special teams played a big part as they scored once on the power play and once short handed before eventually tacking on an even strength marker to lead 3-0 after 20 minutes.Another short handed goal near the mid way point of the second had the Trackers up four heading to the third.- Advertisement -Comox scored twice early in the final period to cut their deficit in half but that’s as close as they would get.Scoring for the Trackers were Robert Kelsey Young (2), Gary Loewen, and Teagan McMullen.
